Day 13, Thursday May 22, 2008

So uh, yeah… totally forgot to do this one in my journal or afterwards, nor do I have any pics from today. Shit. But I remember the night part.
So all of us back at the house go out with Alberto to Byblos in Manuel Antonio. It’s so much nice to go in the car rather than have to worry about a taxi or a bus. We could go when we wanted too. That was the first night the rest of the guys had hung out with the new kids, so they didn’t really know anybody and I already knew almost everybody, though not all by name.
We all got pretty toasted and apparently I talked to a few more hookers (I just must be blind to them. I don’t get it). Anyway, we owned that place again, and the bar got wild. Though this time the girls couldn’t get us drinks because they were warned that if they tried that again they’d get kicked out.
After we left the bar, Alberto wanted to hit the Discotecas, but the other guys, besides me and Ian who were probably the most drunk of the five of us, didn’t want to go, so he dropped them off and they walked home. Ian, Alberto, and I went to the Discotecas, but Ian spotted some girls that he was going to class with at a restaurant right before we went in, so Alberto paid for us to go in and then we went and talked to those girls, one of them named Michelle, don’t remember the other name. After they went home we went back to the Discoteca and looked around. Can you say minority? We were the only two white boys in the whole club, and we didn’t get very good looks, and we were very drunk and rather nervous, so we decided that we needed to jet and we walked home. Of course we were offered drugs again, but we just kept walking, stumbling all the way back to the house before hitting our heads on those damn wind chimes when we got into the house.
